City of Oxford

CrimeReports.com is a web-based program that the Oxford Police Department contracts with to map and identify crimes in our city. It is a practical and illustrative way for citizens to see what kinds of offenses are occurring in our city over a specific period of time and place. We encourage people to check this site out and of course provide us with any feedback you would like regarding its usefulness to you.

Instructions:

1. Enter the website noted above. (www.crimereports.com)
2. Allow the screen to load. (It may take as much as 10 seconds or so)
3. Once the new screen is up. Go to upper left of screen where is says “Enter Address” and put in “Oxford NC”.
4. It will then load offenses on a map of the city.
5. You can then enter Date Range or Incident Types and broaden your search on the map in whatever time range or crime event you would like.
