By adopting this resolution, the City is pledging that no one in the project area will be denied the benefits of the CDBG program because of their race, religion, color, sex, familial status, handicap status, or national origin. The City is only responsible for Fair Housing practices directly connected to its CDBG project.  Fair Housing enforcement in NC is the responsibility of the NC Human Relations Commission in Raleigh, and any Fair Housing complaints not in the CDBG project are forwarded to that agency.
