RECREATION
DEPARTMENT
 Mary Caudle is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of
Oxford. She has been with the City over 6 years and brings with
her over 27 years of public management experience. She received her
BS from East Carolina University and is also a Certified Public Manager
from the State of North Carolina. Mary has certification in
Interactive Management and was the recipient of Governor's ESA in 1996
and also a recipient of the Ralph A. Keitner Award.
The Recreation Department is
comprised of six staff members plus the Director. The department's
mission is to provide safe, attractive, and modern grounds and
facilities, offer quality recreational opportunities for citizens of all
ages and interests, improve the quality of life in our community,
promote healthy living and a healthy population and preserve our natural
resources.
