The mission of the Downtown Oxford Economic Development Corporation is to serve our community by partnering with merchants, citizens and government to develop downtown as an economic, historic, cultural and family-oriented hub through image and promotional enhancements.

Mission Statement

Downtown Oxford will catch the spirit of the past, enrich the present and embrace the future by continuing to be the economic hub of the community expressed through an array of unique businesses and family-oriented events that are enjoyed by all.

The DOEDC offers a Façade Incentive Grant, an Upper Story Development Program and a New Business Rental Assistance Program for businesses specifically interested in our historic downtown area as well as providing information for Starting a New Business.  They also offer a listing of available business spaces to rent or purchase in the downtown.  Applications and guidelines are located on our Permits, Applications, Forms and Fee Schedule  page.
