Operations Division
The Operations Division of the Fire Department has the primary responsibility for maintaining all equipment owned and operated by the City of Oxford Fire Department. This equipment shall be maintained at all times and in a state of readiness should, a call for service arise. This division also responds to and mitigates calls for service including, but not limited to: structure fires, car fires, vegetation fires, hazmat incidents, industrial rescues, vehicle extrication, and public education for both children and adults. The operations division also assists with fire inspections and pre-planning of high-hazard occupancies.
