COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Downtown Oxford Economic Development Corporation (DOEDC): The DOEDC is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization governed by an executive committee, a 10-member board, and three (3) ex-officio members whose purpose is to focus on Downtown revitalization and enhancement while preserving the historical character.
DOEDC meets monthly at the following times and locations:
- Design Committee Meeting: Every first Monday of the month at 10:00 am, Strong Arm Bakery
- Promotions Committee Meeting: Every first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am, 105 Main Street (below The Hub on Main)
- Commerce Committee Meeting: Every first Wednesday of the month at 8:00 am, Oxford Oaks Distillery
- DOEDC Board Meeting: Every first Wednesday of the month at 9:00 am
Non-Profit/Community Organizations: The Downtown Development office strives to work and partner with community organizations and non-profits to bring a variety of support services, events, and activities to Downtown Oxford and the City of Oxford as a whole.
INCENTIVES
The DOEDC offers a Façade Incentive Grant program for businesses specifically interested in our historic downtown area as well as providing information for Starting a New Business. They also offer a listing of available business spaces to rent or purchase in the Downtown area.
*DOEDC and the City of Oxford are currently working to revise current incentive programs in order to develop additional resources for new business owners and business expansion/retention efforts. *
